JSC Exam means Junior School Certificate Examination and JDC exam means Junior Dakhil Certificate Examination. JSC and JDC are equivalent exam, JSC for secondary school’s students and JDC for Madrasah students. Bangladeshi students must be cross the four steps to admit in undergraduate level.

The children get in primary school or ebtedayee madrasah when their age reached at 6 years old and after five years studying they sit for PSC (Primary School Certificate/Somaponi) exam from the school or Ebtedayee Somaponi from madrasah. The students who successfully passed in the PSC or Ebtedayee examination they get admit in to the secondary school and three later they sit for JSC or JDC exam.

JSC and JDC is the second step of education in Bangladesh. Then the student’s age reached 13-14 years old. The better students are selected for junior scholarship program of Bangladesh government. So it is the important exam for all students in Bangladesh.

Later two years from the JSC/JDC exam the student will appear on SSC or Dakhil exam which is equivalent of 'O' level. Generally JSC and JDC exam start in the first week of November. The JSC and JDC exam held under the Bangladesh Education Board and Madrasah Education Board.
